Our Story
Tom and I met and married 18 years ago - second marriage for both. Before we married, we mutually decided that someday in the future we would move somewhere cooler - we were both very tired of the Texas heat - Tom's from Michigan and I'm from Rhode Island.
In 2002, while visiting my parents, we spent a lovely afternoon with their friends Jim and Annie on Pasquiset Pond in Charlestown. The lot next to theirs had never been built on and they informed us the owner was not interested in selling. In 2003, we decided to take a chance and contact the owner to see if she might be interested in selling to us. It turned out she was . . . and so the adventure began.
